A note from George Held

The Cedar Rapids club just started on a new room box project. We'll be doing an old-fashioned barbarshop. I saw a picture hanging in my barbar's shop and loved it. I took a picture of it, and wer're going to create our room boxes with that as our approximate reference art. Please view the picture below.

I assembled boxes for all club members interested in participating in the project. We met on Saturday, January 17th and painted the boxes. Next month we'll begin to work on installing the walls, lighting, exterior scene, windows and doors. (We'll see how quickly we progress on it.) We anticipate working on these room boxes for most of 2009.
